As VP of Corporate IT at Veo, you own the technology layer that keeps our global workforce productive, secure, and connected.
Your mission is to build a scalable, lean corporate IT function that enables every Veo employee to do their best work with minimal friction and manageable compliance risk.
You own employee-facing systems: devices, office infrastructure, identity, SaaS tools, and the internal platforms that enable self-service AI projects across the business. You drive Veo's regulatory compliance program as its accountability owner, working with People & Culture, Finance, BI, and R&D. You operate at the boundary between the business and engineering. Where corporate and product systems intersect, you bring clarity, governance, and shared accountability.
If you thrive at the intersection of people, technology, and business - and want to be part of a company redefining what's possible for athletes everywhere - you'll feel right at home with this team.
What You Will Do
- Design and execute the 3-year Corporate IT strategy for employee-facing systems: device management, SaaS portfolio, office connectivity, and identity.
- Own the hiring, mentoring, and structure of Corporate IT. You will define the roles for Helpdesk, Corporate Security, and internal IT as the company grows.
- Own Veo's regulatory compliance programme (GDPR, NIS2, CRA). Define KPIs and roadmap in collaboration with People & Culture, Finance, Legal, BI, and R&D. Manage data processing agreements, vendor risk assessments, audit readiness, and policy documentation. You report compliance status to management and the board.
- Oversee a hybrid environment of endpoint devices and specialised hardware (Mac, Windows, Google Workspace), ensuring secure connectivity, hardware support, and best-in-class meeting room AV across Copenhagen HQ, other offices, remote teams, and production environments.
- Establish security training and awareness programmes for all employees. Maintain and communicate corporate security policies. Coordinate with R&D and Legal on threat detection, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery. Directly own security controls for corporate IT: identity management (SSO/IdP), Google Workspace, and device compliance.
- Own the IT budget, procurement, and vendor relationships for employee-enabling hardware and SaaS: devices, accessories, Google Workspace, business applications, and office infrastructure.
- Inherit a team of 5–7 and lead a hiring strategy to grow the department by 50–100% in the near term.
- Own the AI Playground as Veo's internal platform for AI-assisted tooling, providing the governance, security, lifecycle management, and platform ownership needed to turn internal AI projects into reliable business capabilities.
What You Could Bring
- 10+ years in IT leadership, preferably within high-growth tech or hardware/software scale-ups. You know what good looks like at scale, and you're energised by the journey to get there.
- You have deep roots in systems engineering but have evolved into a strategic leader who understands the why behind technology and how it serves both employee and business goals.
- You're a force multiplier. You build structures that allow everyone to move faster without compromising security.
- You speak the language of the CFO. You're comfortable with CapEx/OpEx discussions and can make a clear case around technical debt, cognitive debt, and opportunity costs.
- Direct experience implementing security frameworks in line with European law, including GDPR and NIS2.
- You lead with clarity and trust, and you take the growth of your team personally. You mentor by doing, set the standard by example.
