The Role and Responsibilities
Assisting team members with setting up onsite mechanical pressure systems of liquid / air pressure systems including components of: pumps, hoses, generators, filters etc.
- Setting up of calibrated equipment within mechanical pressure systems
- Work under Leading Hands in all tasks, responsibilities, duties, work and projects as may be requested
- Perform any administrative requirements including accurate completion of work timesheets, JHA’s, vehicle check sheets, equipment inventory lists or any other documentation as may be required in the role.
- Follow EnerMech best practices and internal policies in relation to safety, fatigue, cleaning equipment, support equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, inventory control, client relations.
- Upskilling and/or cross training
- Retraining as required with equipment updates, changes and new release
To be considered for this role you will have experience in ANY of the following areas:
- Pressure testing, chemical cleaning, flange management, high pressure blasting
- Must have experience around mechanical equipment and items
- Ability to react, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Willingness to accept new challenges
- Strong focus on Teamwork and capable of working unsupervised
- Positive and team-based attitude
- Willingness to learn other industrial services such as leak sealing, hot tapping, chemical cleaning, pressure testing
Required skills and Tickets:
- Use or Operate level HPWJ ticket - Essential
- 3 site medical blue card (RTAY / QAL / BSL) - highly desirable
- Current Driver License
- Flange face machining experience (highly desirable)
- Heavy vehicle licence (highly desirable)
- High Risk Work licence, Forklift (highly desirable)
- Construction Induction (White or Blue Card)
- Working at Heights within 2 years is desirable
- Confined Space Entry within 2 years is desirable
