At Cellerator, every sourcing decision and supplier relationship supports our mission to bring cell therapies closer to patients. We are a philanthropic organisation founded and funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, dedicated to turning cell-based therapies into treatments that reach the people who need them.
Cellerator is a scale-up, and we are establishing the organisation from the ground up - procurement included. The Cellerator team has put the basics in place, and now we need someone to take ownership: shape it into a fully in-house capability, bring valuable input to the implementation of SAP ERP procurement system, and qualify the vendors who meet our GMP standards. You will work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Process Development, Facilities, and Finance to keep clinical cell therapy production running without interruption. This is a role where you will not just manage procurement – you will establish it.
What you’ll do
- Design and implement a procurement system based on SAP ERP, supporting both GMP and non-GMP operations
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors — and negotiate contracts that meet our GMP compliance requirements
- Ensure vendor and supplier compliance with relevant standards — and act when compliance is missing
- Manage purchase requisitions, orders, and procurement workflows in SAP ERP
- Work with warehouse and planning teams to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimising waste
- Resolve supply disruptions and expedite critical orders when needed
- Build strong relationships with key suppliers and train colleagues in procurement processes
- Generate risk assessments for delivery of critical goods and plan for contingencies
What you bring
- 5+ years of procurement experience in pharma, biotech, or an organisation with similar requirements
- Hands-on experience with vendor qualification and GMP compliance assessment
- Proficiency in SAP ERP and contract negotiation
- Experience analysing procurement expenses and applying optimisations
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or similar
Who you are
- Quality-conscious and detail-oriented, with a drive to deliver high quality results
- Systematic and proactive — you take initiative and handle complexity well
- A strong collaborator who thrives on teamwork and building relationships with many internal and external stakeholders
- Curious, open to different perspectives, and committed to a positive team culture
- Flexible, you are able to manage several complex tasks simultaneously, and structure workdays in such a way that agreed goals and deadlines are met

Life at Cellerator
Built with you, not before you. We’re a scale-up, so our processes, culture, and ways of working are still taking shape. You won’t inherit a rigid playbook—you’ll help create it.
Work well, sustainably. We take work–life balance seriously and aim for a supportive, enjoyable workplace. Good science happens when people feel trusted, supported, and able to do their best work.
Flat by design. We work across teams rather than in silos. Whether you’re collaborating with GMP production, academic partners, or leadership, your perspective matters. We prioritise partnership over hierarchy.
Backed, but independent. The Novo Nordisk Foundation provides the stability and credibility to deliver on our mission. At the same time, our culture and direction are distinctly our own, and we move with the pace and spirit of a scale-up.
