Do you want to play a key role in ensuring that the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s philanthropic grants and investments create real and lasting societal impact?
We are looking for a Senior Impact Manager to support the development of NNF’s mission driven portfolio management.
The position is placed in the Impact & Portfolio Department and operates at the intersection of strategic impact and portfolio management, including data-driven support of NNF’s impact missions, and a proactive role in the support of project excellence.
About the role
As Senior Impact Manager, you will help ensure that NNF’s impact missions, objectives and outcome targets are robust and validated.
As such, you will become part of a catalytic hub function working across the organisation, and together with colleagues in the department you will support our leadership with data driven analyses and evidence-based recommendations.
At the same time, you will actively contribute through hands on project management, helping to ensure that NNF is both doing the right projects and doing the projects right.
Key responsibilities
You will contribute with data-based analyses and hands on project management, supporting the implementation of NNF’s strategy and its mission driven portfolio in close collaboration with both our CXO Areas and other functional areas across the organisation.
This includes,
Data driven support of Impact Missions
- Qualify and validate mission purposes, objectives and outcome targets in close dialogue with business areas.
- Identify change enablers and Impact Pathways (projects/initiatives) based on data, evidence and logical linkages.
- Ensure coherence between strategic goals, societal impact and portfolio composition.
Mission driven portfolio governance
- Actively support NNF’s Portfolio Board, Executive Management and Board Secretariat with decision relevant input, including the support of criteria-based stage gate processes across the pipeline and portfolio.
- Deliver data-based insights and assessments to support leadership decision-making, including support to the development and use of scenarios and models that illustrate how the portfolio is progressing towards strategic objectives.
- Contribute to a more forward looking, coherent and transparent portfolio governance approach.
