Senior Manufacturing Project Manager

Location: Marietta, OH
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: Starting at $120,000 annually, with higher compensation available based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical infrastructure programs from order release through final delivery. This position requires a highly skilled professional with direct experience managing the production and execution of manufactured electrical systems, prefabricated power solutions, or mission-critical infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary leader for assigned programs, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and customer-facing activities to ensure successful project outcomes. This role is best suited for someone who has previously managed similar projects and can quickly contribute with minimal ramp-up time.

What You'll Do

  • Manage projects from contract award through production, shipment, and customer acceptance.
  • Establish project plans, schedules, milestones, and key deliverables.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively address schedule, scope, and execution risks.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and facilitate collaboration across multiple departments.
  • Ensure commitments are achieved while maintaining quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and schedule communications.
  • Coordinate change requests, scope modifications, and project documentation.
  • Support milestone billing activities and delivery-related requirements.
  • Partner closely with engineering, operations, procurement, quality, logistics, and sales teams.
  • Drive accountability and alignment across multiple workstreams.
  • Maintain accurate project records and configuration control throughout execution.
  • Escalate critical issues when necessary while maintaining a solution-oriented approach.
  • Support successful project handoffs between departments and functional teams.
  • Review customer contracts, purchase orders, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Ensure manufacturing deliverables align with contractual obligations and approved scope.
  • Track project changes and coordinate documentation updates.
  • Support customer acceptance activities and final project closeout.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience within electrical equipment manufacturing, power distribution systems, mission-critical infrastructure, or related industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing-based project execution and product delivery.
  • Experience working directly with customers, contractors, engineering firms, or EPC organizations.
  • Ability to review and interpret contracts, technical specifications, schedules, and engineering documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work onsite in Marietta, Ohio and collaborate closely with plant and engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing prefabricated, integrated, modular, or skid-mounted electrical systems.
  • Background supporting data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with project tracking and ERP systems such as Smartsheet, M2M, or comparable platforms.
  • Experience coordinating Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), logistics planning, and equipment delivery activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

This opportunity is designed for a project management professional who has successfully led similar manufacturing-driven electrical infrastructure projects and can make an immediate impact. Candidates coming primarily from IT project management, software implementations, or traditional construction management environments without direct experience in manufactured electrical equipment delivery may not have the specialized background required for this role.
