Graduate / Junior Operations Role

Location: West Thurrock
Salary: £31,200 + progression
Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:00pm + 1 in 2 Saturdays (8:00am–12:00pm)

The Role

We’re working with a well-established business in the commercial vehicle sector that is looking to bring in a technically minded graduate or equivalent with the intention of developing them into a future manager.

This isn’t a formal graduate scheme, but a hands-on opportunity to learn the business from the ground up. You’ll spend time across different areas of the operation to understand how everything fits together- particularly within the workshop, service, and parts departments.

The long-term goal is for this person to step into a supervisory/management role within the workshop and service side of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Getting involved in day-to-day workshop and service operations
  • Learning how jobs are booked, scheduled, and managed
  • Spending time with different teams to understand processes across the business
  • Supporting with parts, stock, and general operational tasks
  • Gaining an understanding of how a busy commercial vehicle operation runs
  • Building towards overseeing workflow, technicians, and service delivery
