A Career With Point72’s Operations Team

Point72’s Operations team supports all operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting firmwide for all products, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange and futures, and digital assets across global markets.

What you’ll do

  • Elicit, document, and maintain clear business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
  • Author high‑quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Translate operational needs into actionable requirements for technology and engineering teams.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and execution scripts for system enhancements and new workflows.
  • Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Partner with stakeholders to validate outcomes and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
  • Identify manual, repetitive, or error‑prone processes across Operations.
  • Leverage business process automation tools (e.g., low‑code/no‑code platforms, workflow tools, RPA) to streamline workflows.
  • Apply AI‑enabled solutions where appropriate, including data extraction, reconciliation, exception management, and reporting.
  • Analyze operational problems and propose scalable, technology‑based solutions.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to implement enhancements.
  • Support post‑implementation monitoring and continuous improvement.

What’s required

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, mathematics, computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience writing business requirements, functional specs, and process documentation.
  • Experience developing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Experience with business process mapping and workflow design.
  • Proficient in business process automation tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, Alteryx, or similar.
  • Ability to use AI‑enabled tools for process improvements such as data classification, extraction, reconciliation, and summarization.
  • Experience using SQL, Python, or other scripting languages
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation tools.

The annual base salary range for this role is $85,000-$90,000 (USD) , which does not include overtime compensation, discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
