Board Certified Behavior Analyst(BCBA)

Location of Service: Center Based Services

Part- Time: Flexible Scheduling

Hours: Saturday 8:45a-3:30pm and/or Sunday 10-1pm

Pay Rate: $80-90 per hour

Start Date: Immediate Opening

POSITION OVERVIEW

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide culturally responsive, work in the Melville center to provide support to children with autism and developmental disabilities in structured social groups. This role is ideal for a BCBA who is passionate about reaching diverse families and bridging language barriers to deliver exceptional care at the Melville Center Saturday and/or Sunday. This position does have the potential of weekday mornings as we continue to grow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead and facilitate structured social groups in a supportive and engaging environment.
  • Implement evidence-based teaching strategies (modeling, role-play, prompting, reinforcement, and natural environment teaching).
  • Promote positive peer interactions and appropriate social behaviors.
  • Support participants in practicing and generalizing skills across different activities and settings.
  • Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or BTs assisting with social groups.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and performance monitoring to ensure high-quality implementation of interventions.
  • Communicate regularly with caregivers regarding participant progress
  • Provide recommendations and strategies for supporting social skills development at home and in the community.
