Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (required)
- 12 months of caregiving experience in Home Care, Assisted Living/Memory Care, Skilled Nursing/Nursing Home, Hospital or Hospice (required)
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication (written, verbal, and active listening)
- Problem-solving skills
- Time management skills
- Ability to work in an electronic medical record system
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Good understanding of body mechanics
- Strong understanding of professional boundaries
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Valid Auto Insurance (required)
Responsibilities:
- Perform personal care activities related to daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, skin care, etc.)
- Review patient care plans
- Assist with lifting and transferring patients
- Assist with range of motion, positioning, exercise, and ambulation
- Assist with dining and nutrition
- Maintain electronic medical records
- Work under the direction of a Case Manager RN
