This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office. The salary range for this position is between $285,000-325,000 USD, annually and is dependent on experience.
About the role
Reporting to our Global Chief Solutions Officer and US Managing Director, and partnering closely with our Global ECD, VP of Creative and VP of AI Studios, you’ll lead the evolution of the Jellyfish Creative US capability and help shape how we engage and grow relationships with our global clients. You’ll oversee the end-to-end creative service delivery model across the US capability — partnering with client leadership to drive client satisfaction, commercial growth and operational excellence across creative, content and production output powered by technology and AI.
Working across all US offices you’ll support the growth and development of high-performing teams through hiring, onboarding, training and evolving scalable ways of working that enable world-class creative delivery at scale.
We’re looking for a proven creative operations and production leader with deep experience across integrated creative agencies and global brand ecosystems. Someone who understands how to unite clients, creatives, production, content and operational teams behind a shared ambition: delivering exceptional creative work at scale. You’ll bring gravitas in senior client-facing environments, with the ability to confidently navigate conversations across creative production, operational transformation and modern content delivery — while always championing the quality of the idea and the craft behind the execution.
This role requires a builder’s mindset: a strategic leader who thrives in complexity, brings clarity to fast-moving environments and inspires teams through contagious energy, resilience and a solutions-first approach. You’ll be a catalyst for creativity and collaboration — shaping structures, refining processes, nurturing talent and empowering multidisciplinary teams to produce breakthrough work that delivers impact for some of the world’s most ambitious brands.
You’ll act as a connective force across Integrated Producers (Creative PMs), Creatives, Content Creators and Production specialists, bringing deep expertise in how to scale creative operations without compromising craft. Partnering closely with our Global ECD and VP of AI Studios US, you’ll help define the strategic direction of the capability — establishing modern, nimble ways of working that unlock innovation, accelerate delivery and create the conditions for award-winning creativity to thrive. You’ll foster an environment where teams are empowered to focus on ideas, innovation and strategic thinking, while ensuring operational excellence, commercial rigour and seamless execution across every stage of delivery.
GenAI Creative Excellence is a key strategic focus across our proprietary platform, Pencil, which houses the latest generative AI models and is embedded throughout the capability. You’ll understand how to architect the right creative and operational approach for GenAI delivery — from high-end AI-driven film production to scaled lower-funnel content ecosystems — always balancing speed and efficiency with the integrity of the creative idea. Our ambition is to redefine how modern creative is made through the power of GenAI, whilst remaining relentlessly focused on producing culturally relevant, commercially effective and creatively exceptional work. You’ll also bring a strong understanding of the creative awards landscape, with a passion for elevating the standard of the work and helping shape ideas capable of industry recognition and lasting impact.
To be successful in this role you:
Will have a mix of creative strategic vision with hands-on production knowledge through global agency experience as well as be comfortable embracing ambiguity. Your ability to quickly understand the business context and priorities, together with your creative and problem-solving mind, will lead you to deliver against tangible business metrics in partnership with the Global ECD.
You will lead client creative operations working closely with JFC Capability Partner leads, Integrated Producers, and Client Management teams helping to make strategic creative decisions and day-to-day execution more efficient. You can simplify the complex challenge to establish robust processes that drive quality, efficiency, and scale. You have a strong creative background coupled with excellent written & verbal communication skills. You can build positive relationships across a wide range of teams, functions, and locations, and have demonstrable experience in stakeholder engagement working with a global extended leadership team.
Responsibilities
Act as a senior lead for all the US JFC Resources across offices in New York, LA, San Francisco, Baltimore and. Chicago.
Manage key aspects of client engagements including the delivery of services through creative and production teams
Partner with creative leads (primarily the Global ECD) to support the creation of award-winning work - ensuring the best creative resource and strategic, operational decisions to make this possible.
Ensure flawless delivery against defined SOW KPIs & success measures in partnership with the JFC Leadership team.
Provide strategic and operational oversight to global practice leads (Operations, Finance, TA) working with the US CFO and Global Resource Management team to act as the primary point of escalation internally and for the complex matrix client org.
Attend weekly team meetings and provide client service reviews with agency leadership stakeholders proving quality, consistency & innovation
Ensure continuous service to our clients, deploying robust programs of recruiting and retention at scale. Proactively handling attrition or service delivery issues; with quick resolution and a high sense of urgency
Work with client management teams to set a vision against Client Growth Plans, with specific and measurable opportunities mapped out, deploying resources intelligently and profitably across geographies and disciplines.
Look to create solutions that deliver against a fixed scope of work, but also build our ability to deliver flexible solutions, allowing us to adapt to solve our client’s challenge
Qualifications
10+ years of marketing operations (and or staffing model) experience in an Agency or Client environment
Knowledge and Background to inform on the best-in-class creative operations and staffing models
Experience with global clients and business, and working across onshore and offshore teams
Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
Working knowledge of how agencies function and how decisions are made.
Understanding of the agency campaign process, from planning and creative through to production and localization.
Working knowledge and passion for marketing technologies including knowledge of the implementation of AI platforms
Understanding of fiscal accountability, including budget management, scope management, forecasting, negotiations, resourcing, and reconciliation.
Ability to solve complex problems and scale effectively across a large organization and highly distributed team.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, energetic, proactive, independent, and responsive to feedback.
Ability to assess existing processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency
Effective business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
Understands clients challenges within a larger business context and is able to engage them on issues and opportunities well outside the current scope
An exceptional communicator, able to move a crowd as well as produce compelling written proposals and presentations.
Highly experienced in the delivery of global marketing communications
The individual will have experience navigating a matrixed organization and can work to bring scale and excellence.
Ability to work across global time zones. Global travel is required.
Solid commercial acumen, with a demonstrated background in business development and contribution to client growth.
Strong relationships with US-based intermediaries and being able to attend production events such as Procurecon and ANA’s to confidently showcase production at scale and localization.
