Board Certified Behavior Analyst(BCBA)

Location of Service: School Based

Part- Time: Flexible Scheduling (Under 30 hours weekly)

Hours: Monday through Friday(School Day Hours)

Pay Rate: $80-90 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW

Dragonfly Cares is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our school-based team to support children with autism and developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for BCBAs who want meaningful school-based work, stability, and work-life balance, with the option to pick up additional cases if desired throughout Long Island.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral and developmental needs.
  • Provide direct and consultative behavioral services to students within school settings.
  • Train, coach, and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff in implementing behavior intervention strategies and evidence-based practices.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret student behavioral data to monitor progress and guide treatment decisions.
  • Ensure treatment fidelity and provide ongoing feedback to school staff implementing behavioral interventions.
  • Collaborate with special education teams, school psychologists, administrators, and related service providers to support student success.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral expertise to student educational planning.
  • Develop individualized goals and monitor student progress toward behavioral and social skill objectives.
  • Provide crisis management strategies and behavior support when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance with school district, state, and BACB standards.
  • Support the development of positive behavior support systems within classrooms and school environments.
  • Provide staff professional development or workshops on behavior management.
  • Supervise RBTs or behavior technicians when assigned.
