About the role:

This is your opportunity to join our dynamic finance team in a role that balances technical skill with real business impact. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will step into the Financial Planning and Analysis function and work closely with the wider finance community. You will base yourself at our plant in Kirchheim with a flexible hybrid arrangement that lets you work from home up to three days a week.

In this position, you will act as the primary financial co-pilot for the local factory management team. Your work combines rigorous month end execution with active business partnering to ensure our factory performance is transparent, predictable, and optimized. By connecting the factory floor with central finance, you help us make the right decisions for our people and our business every day.

How you embrace curiosity daily

  • Own the end to end month end preparation for the site including accuracy checks and variance analysis

  • Support the annual budget and re forecast cycles for the site by collaborating with department heads

  • Work with operational stakeholders to challenge assumptions and ensure data is accurately populated in our tools

  • Update and maintain our product costing to ensure bill of materials and bill of labour data is accurate

  • Develop and update financial working methods to improve efficiency even when there are no established procedures

  • Support production leads on group wide finance projects and look for opportunities to use AI tools

How you make your mark

  • Act as the boots on the ground finance contact to guide and influence the Factory Director

  • Attend local management meetings to explain financial results and track key performance indicators like waste and labor efficiency

  • Drive local financial performance and cost discipline through data driven insights and persuasive communication

  • Build and track robust business cases for new investments to help the site grow sustainably

  • Help the factory team understand the financial story behind their operations to inspire better performance

  • Bring a proactive controlling mindset to the plant to constantly improve our local financial processes

What you bring to the team

  • Solid experience in a manufacturing or operational finance environment

  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets using lookups, pivots, and logic building

  • Professional fluency in English for daily collaboration in our international environment

  • Ability to work cross functionally between the factory floor and central finance teams

  • Strong analytical skills combined with an organized and pragmatic approach to problem solving

  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision in an evolving environment
