As the Global Payroll Specialist at Booksy, you will play a central role in running payroll operations while helping rebuild and strengthen the wider payroll function. This role combines hands-on payroll processing with broader ownership of process improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and operational consistency across a global business environment. You will work closely with internal teams to improve workflows, restore effective working relationships across functions, and help create a more structured and scalable approach to payroll. Please note, this is an Employment contract of up to 12 months (2 months of probation + up to 10 months fixed term contract) with possibility of permanent employment.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage day-to-day payroll processing activities, ensuring payroll operations move forward accurately and on time.
  • Support process improvement work across payroll, helping identify gaps, improve workflows, and build more consistent ways of working.
  • Contribute to payroll-related projects, including systems, interfaces, and broader operational development within the function.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across teams, rebuilding trust, improving collaboration, and aligning on the data, processes, and support needed for payroll to run effectively.
  • Help strengthen the overall payroll function, taking an active role in creating structure, driving improvements, and supporting more scalable global operations.
