As a Head English Teacher at Aaron School, you'll lead a dynamic classroom where students with diverse learning needs build confidence, communication skills, and academic growth through engaging and individualized instruction. In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to create meaningful learning experiences that help students thrive both academically and personally.
What You'll Need
Master’s degree in English education or a related field from an accredited institution with special education experience preferred
New York State teaching certification in English Education Grates 7-12 required
Experience in developing and managing individualized learning goals and monitoring student progress
Strong communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
What You'll Do
Design and implement engaging English lessons aligned with curriculum goals and differentiated for diverse learning needs
Develop individualized goals for each student, monitor progress, and adjust instruction to foster success
Collaborate with faculty and administrators to differentiate curricula for all students
Build positive relationships with families through regular communication, conferences, and ongoing student updates
Create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment where students feel valued and empowered to learn
