Your impact
In this role you create the best possible employee experience through operational excellence. You believe that precise, well-organized administration is the backbone of a great workplace – every accurate record, smooth onboarding, and timely answer directly shapes how employees experience our company.
You see technology as a lever to make people operations smarter, faster, and more human. You’re curious about how emerging tools can reduce manual work and improve the employee experience.
You work in a team of People Operations Specialists (Process, Payroll, People Analytics), each with their own scope but jointly responsible for recurring operational and admin tasks. The team supports each other during peak times across specialties such as Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Onboarding, Health/Absence Management, Data/Reporting, and Guides Support. Within your scope, you support the People & Culture Partners with coordination, administration, analysis, and communication.
It is essential for you to be able to keep a broad overview of all ongoing tasks, anticipate the potential consequences of changes, and prioritize accordingly with the rest of the team.
Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle (contracting, onboarding, offboarding, changes, contingent workers, immigration) in AFAS and other HR systems
Deliver seamless HR administration and employee support, ensuring a consistent and professional experience
Maintain accurate and reliable employee records—data quality is key to trust and service
Act as a liaison between payroll, legal, and external vendors, including immigration partners
Collaborate with the People team and other departments on both daily operations and projects
Support payroll processes and company audits
Identify and drive process improvements, including opportunities for automation and AI
Stay up to date on HR trends, best practices, and technology developments
Research and resolve complex queries by connecting with the right stakeholders
What you bring
Experience & Education
2–5 years of experience in HR Operations / People Operations
1–2 years of hands-on experience with AFAS as a primary HRIS
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
Knowledge of labor law, GDPR, and general HR regulations (preferably across multiple countries)
Skills & strengths
Strong understanding of HR processes and the full employee lifecycle
High attention to detail: you notice what others miss
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Clear communicator and true team player
Fluent in English (written and spoken), Dutch at B2 level is considered a strong plus.
Curious about AI and automation and how to apply them in HR
Able to manage multiple priorities, especially in peak periods
Your mindset
What truly sets you apart:
You take pride in precision and quality
You take ownership and proactively improve processes
You are trusted with sensitive information and handle it with care
You are approachable and service-driven
You are open to feedback and continuously improve

You challenge the status quo and look for smarter ways of working
You collaborate easily and build strong relationships across teams
