We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful implementation, upgrade, and expansion of our ValGenesis software products for our Life Sciences clients. In this role, you will take a hands-on approach, combining project management execution with functional activities such as business analysis, configuration support, user knowledge transfer, and day-to-day issue resolution. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction while managing project timelines, scopes, and budgets to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed, realistic project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and task tracking.
- Drive successful customer software implementations, ensuring milestones are delivered on time and within budget.
- Partner directly with clients to understand their operational objectives and recommend the best system functionalities to meet their needs.
- Support hands-on project tasks where required, including business analysis, configuration support, and basic troubleshooting.
- Anticipate potential project challenges; collaborate across internal teams to develop and execute effective risk mitigation plans.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements during delivery and communicate them clearly to the Product Management team.
- Build and maintain strong operational relationships with client project teams through regular meetings, status reports, and progress updates.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the project, ensuring clear, consistent, and structured weekly communications and stakeholder updates.
- Deliver in-depth system training and knowledge transfer to client teams to maximize the value of their implemented software.
- Coordinate project team members assigned to your delivery streams, regularly reviewing their progress and providing supportive feedback to aid their development.
- Ensure timely submission and approval of project timesheets and tracking metrics for your project team.
- Complete all required quality system and product training programs to stay compliant with regulatory and company policies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold security standards to preserve user and client trust.
- Identify opportunities for additional services, including system expansions, training, and new module functionalities within your assigned client accounts.
- Support company revenue goals by actively securing client satisfaction, retention, and smooth project sign-offs.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–6 years of dedicated project management experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing software implementation or technical projects.
- Industry: Previous experience in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or highly regulated industries is highly desirable.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build trust with external client stakeholders.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); practical familiarity with MS Project or equivalent PM tracking software.
- Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, or Business Information Systems).
- Certification: Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is preferred.
