Role & Missions
Quality Control & Inspection
- Define and implement incoming, in-process, and final inspection procedures
- Create quality checklists, acceptance criteria, and control plans for mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical assemblies
- Perform or supervise inspections and functional tests to validate product conformity
- Manage non-conformities and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
- Approve products for shipment based on defined quality standards
Process Development & Continuous Improvement
- Establish scalable quality control processes and documentation
- Analyze defect trends, failure modes, and production yield to identify root causes
- Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor product and supplier quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve reliability
Supplier Quality
- Define incoming inspection standards for purchased components and assemblies
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance
- Track supplier non-conformities and corrective actions
- Support qualification and auditing of critical suppliers
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain inspection records, test reports, and traceability documentation
- Ensure product quality data is accurately captured and archived
- Support implementation of ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent quality standards
- Contribute to the development of a robust Quality Management System
