As a Quality Engineer at Flooid, you will work closely with engineering and business teams within an agile environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.  

You’ll contribute to both manual and automated testing, advocate for best practice, and support continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.  

This is a collaborative role where quality is shared, and your input will shape how we build and test our products. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with software engineers, business analysts and other team members to define and deliver quality solutions within agile delivery teams 
  • Contribute to test planning, estimation, and the creation of test scenarios for new features 
  • Design, create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks 
  • Execute tests, analyse results and ensure clear reporting of outcomes 
  • Identify, log and manage defects through the software testing lifecycle, including root cause analysis 
  • Support Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices 
  • Ensure appropriate test coverage for all features delivered 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of quality engineering standards, tools and practices 
  • Review test artefacts and share knowledge within the wider Quality Engineering community
