Develop Health is on a mission to use AI to radically accelerate access to life-saving medications. By automating complex, manual healthcare processes—like benefit verification and prior authorization—we’ve achieved 10x revenue growth over the past year, growing from $0 to >$10M in annual recurring revenue in less than 2 years, and currently help more than 400,000 new patients every month.
We’re partnering with some of the largest pharmacy benefit managers and payers in the nation, revolutionizing how healthcare interactions occur by eliminating human delays and inefficiencies. Our small, elite team of founders and engineers have previously launched and exited successful healthcare startups including Rupa Health and Canvas Medical. We are now scaling rapidly following a major funding round.
About The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Executive Assistant to be the operational backbone of our Menlo Park HQ and the trusted right hand to our executive team. You'll be the person who makes the office hum and ensures our senior leaders can operate at maximum leverage, acting as an Office Manager and Workspace Lead whilst running the operating system for our executive team.
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role. You will own prioritization, workflows, and leadership cadence so our CEO and exec team can operate at maximum leverage. You'll be deeply hands-on with modern tooling — we expect you to use AI and automation to build systems, not just work through tasks. You'll bring structure to ambiguity, anticipate needs, and ensure the executive layer of the company runs smoothly as we scale."
It's a high-trust, high-ownership role for someone who takes pride in both sides of the craft — the strategic calendar Tetris and making sure the coffee machine is actually working on a Monday morning. Please note that this is an office-based role (x5 days per week).
What You'll Do — Impact In Your First 3–6 Months:
Take ownership of executive calendars and cross-functional prioritization, as well as coordinating complex domestic and international travel end-to-end
Be the welcoming face of Develop Health for every visitor, candidate, and new hire who walks through the door
Strengthen weekly leadership alignment and KR reporting, and establish clean rythms for board and investor coordination
Organise lunch-and-learns, team meals, birthdays, and the small touches that make in-office days something people look forward to
Bring structure to onboarding/offboarding and payroll approvals - building lightweight, automated workflows rather than manual checklists
Own day-to-day tooling and light technical setup for the office - keeping the team's systems, accounts, and AI tools running smoothly
What You'll Own — Driving Growth Beyond 6 Months:
Build a scalable executive operations function
Shape the culture and experience of our HQ as we expand headcount in Menlo Park
Improve clarity and accountability across leadership workflows
Reduce friction in recurring processes (meetings, reporting, travel, onboarding) through automation and smart tooling
Act as a force multiplier across both the executive layer and the office floor
What You'll Bring On Day 1:
2–4 years in executive operations, senior EA, chief of staff–lite, or similar roles at high-growth startups - we care more about trajectory and capability than years on paper
Some exposure to office management, workplace experience, or operations — and genuine enthusiasm for both sides of this role
Experience supporting multiple executives simultaneously
Warm, professional presence — you're the first person visitors meet and the team's daily point of contact
Strong systems thinking and operational discipline - you instinctively automate, integrate, and streamline rather than doing things manually
High technical and AI literacy - fluent with modern productivity and AI tools, comfortable connecting systems together, and able to handle lightweight IT/technical troubleshooting independently
Excellent written communication and sound judgment
Comfort operating independently in fast-moving environments
