The role

We're looking for a highly motivated Strategic Account Manager, APAC, to join our team in Hong Kong. This role reports into the Director, APAC Retention & Growth, and is tasked to manage and support the growth of key accounts within Hong Kong and the expansion of WGSN global accounts within APAC. 

This opportunity is ideal for a sales driven individual who has at least 5 years experience within client facing positions.

Key accountabilities

  • Own, retain, and aggressively expand high-value client accounts across the APAC region, identifying growth opportunities to maximize revenue potential
  • Proactively prospect, pitch, and close new enterprise-level business, driving the end-to-end sales cycle from initial engagement to contract execution
  • Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers, navigating complex corporate hierarchies to position our solutions strategically
  • Maintain high-accuracy revenue forecasting and robust pipeline management, leveraging data-driven insights to consistently meet or exceed ambitious annual sales targets
  • Develop and execute tailored, long-term account plans for enterprise clients, ensuring alignment between their evolving business objectives and our product/service ecosystem
  • Partner closely with internal teams—including WGSN Mindset & Customer Success—to ensure seamless delivery on client commitments and a premium customer experience

Skills, experience & qualifications required

  • Proven track record of managing and expanding substantial annual revenue portfolios, backed by robust forecasting skills and a consistent history of meeting or exceeding ambitious commercial targets
  • Extensive experience in B2B corporate sales, with significant time spent operating successfully at a Senior Key Account Management or Account Director level
  • A proactive growth driver who balances strategic relationship retention with an entrepreneurial mindset. You do not just maintain partnerships; you actively identify, pitch, and close new enterprise-level business
  • Ability to demonstrate measurable organic account growth (via strategic upselling and cross-selling) alongside a documented history of successfully acquiring new logos across APAC markets
  • Sophisticated communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to navigate and influence complex, multi-layered corporate hierarchies and C-suite stakeholders
  • A well-established professional network within the region is highly advantageous
  • Experience within market research / consultancy / SaaS is highly regarded
