About this opportunity

GIST is seeking experienced law enforcement and prosecution specialists to support upcoming international projects, subject to programme award and mobilisation.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience supporting US Government-funded programmes, strong technical expertise, and operational or programme delivery experience in overseas or complex environments.

Applicants should demonstrate

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience training or mentoring law enforcement actors or institutions internationally

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience delivering US Government-funded programmes

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Confidence working with diverse, multi-national teams and stakeholders

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong communication and organisational skills

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Willingness to undertake multi-week or extended field deployments

Technical specialisation in either law enforcement or prosecutions is required, alongside experience working with US Government and international security-sector stakeholders.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Countering the financing of terrorism

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Cryptocurrency and virtual asset investigations

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Digital evidence and open-source intelligence (OSINT)

Prosecutions

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Terrorism-related prosecutions

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Terrorist financing or national security casework

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Investigation planning and legal coordination processes

Preferred experience includes

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Terrorist financing case experience

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Current bar admission, preferably including US legal experience

Additional Experience

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Mentoring or programme experience is required, preferably within US Government-funded programmes

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience delivering training and mentoring using case-based exercises

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience developing SOPs, operational procedures or reporting frameworks

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience working in fragile and conflict-affected environments, including Central Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Understanding of grant compliance requirements, including equipment management

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong IT skills, particularly across Microsoft 365 applications

Language Skills

Language capability in one or more of the following is desirable:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Arabic

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Russian

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Tajik

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Uzbek
