This is an on-site position.

Fixed-term contract: 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement.

Working days: at least 4 days a week (including Fridays).

Please note: This role involves occasional physical tasks, including the ability to lift and move items like wooden boxes, office deliveries, or furniture of moderate weight.

YOU WILL BE TAKING CARE OF

  • Preparing for and welcoming guests, such as visitors or candidates. You manage access for our employees.

  • Ensure the space is stocked with all amenities, like beverages, fruits, office and kitchen supplies, employee welcome packages, etc.

  • Being the first point of contact for employees' questions, facility management, maintenance, security, repairs, installations, and deliveries to the office.

  • Support internal and external events and meetups in the Better Space, for our teams, with our partners, or our tech & logistics community.

  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are maintained at all times.

 

YOU CHECK THESE BOXES

  • First experience in community and office management, or within the hotel or service industry.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, employing a structured approach to your tasks while leveraging strong multitasking and prioritization skills.

  • Trustworthy and discreet, capable of handling sensitive information with absolute confidentiality and integrity.

  • Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on mentality and a technical affinity for operating.

  • Empathetic with strong communication and socialising skills; you treat the office like a second home, naturally make guests and colleagues feel right at home, and love maintaining an engaging culture in a results-driven environment.

  • Digitally savvy and highly capable of learning new online tools and applications quickly.

  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.

IT IS AWESOME IF YOU ALSO HAVE

  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Google Products.

  • Experience in troubleshooting everyday office equipment (such as coffee machines, speakers, and media setups).

  • B2 level of German.
