Job Title: 2nd Shift eComm Supervisor

Department: E-Commerce / Direct-to-Consumer Fulfillment
Reports To: E-com Fulfilment Manager

 

Position Summary

The DTC Fulfillment Team Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day execution of assigned fulfillment workstreams (Batching, Picking/Packing, Shipping, or Inventory/Replenishment) to ensure orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role acts as the primary point of contact for associates on each shift, drives productivity and quality, and escalates operational issues as needed.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong floor presence and the ability to coach, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Execution

  • Lead daily DTC fulfillment operations across pick, pack, ship, and batching workflows
  • Ensure all orders are processed within 2 days or earlier SLA target
  • Ensure batching associates proactively batch orders ahead of scheduled waves to support continuous flow and minimize downtime
  • Monitor throughput, backlog, and order flow to maintain consistent and efficient output
  • Ensure all orders are accurately completed, quality-checked, and closed in the WMS
  • Ensure all B2B-to-DTC inventory transfers are received, processed, and made available for fulfillment in a timely manner
  • Ensure 100% accuracy and completion of weekly eCommerce-to-B2B inventory transfers within 24-hour
  • Track and ensure labor productivity hours are accurately recorded and submitted in a timely manner for performance reporting
  • Partner cross-functionally to manage volume spikes, staffing gaps, and prevent operational delays
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate package and pallet volume forecasts for carrier pickups

Process & Compliance

  • Uphold all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for picking, staging, and shipping activities.
  • Audit daily operations to ensure compliance with company processes, inventory controls, and quality standards.
  • Identify process gaps and implement corrective actions to maintain operational integrity.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in documentation and order tracking within WMS.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Supervise and coach warehouse associates, assigning tasks and setting daily priorities.
  •  Foster a team-oriented, safety-first culture focused on accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular feedback, training, and development to build multi-skilled, cross-functional teams.
  •  Lead daily shift meetings to align goals, priorities, and safety reminders.

Safety & Facility Standards

  • Enforce all safety protocols, ensuring a clean, organized, and compliant facility.
  • Conduct safety inspections and report or resolve any unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA and internal safety guidelines.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

On-Time Shipment Rate: ≥ 98%
Inventory Accuracy: ≥ 99%
SOP Compliance: 100% adherence on internal audits

 

Qualifications:

1–3 years of fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution experience

Prior lead, senior associate, or informal leadership experience preferred

Experience in DTC / e-commerce fulfillment strongly preferred

Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Experience with WMS systems (Extensiv preferred)

Experience in multi-shift operations

Familiarity with batching, wave planning, and inventory processes

Exposure to high-volume or high-accuracy fulfillment environments
