The Demand Planner (Master Planner) is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts based on the sales pipeline, historical trends, and market intelligence. This role ensures seamless coordination between sales, production planning, and resource deployment by translating sales insights into actionable operational forecasts. The Demand Planner is a critical bridge between commercial strategy and operational execution, playing a key role in our S&OP process.

Responsibilities

  • Step in as a deputy for the S&OP Director, ensuring seamless leadership when required
  • Forecasting & Planning
  • Develop rolling demand forecasts (weekly/monthly) based on data from Sales CRM, customer insights, and project seasonality.
  • Translate sales opportunities into operational forecasts, including technician demand and robotic asset utilization.
  • Drive forecast consensus through collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Production Planning.
  • Data Management & Reporting
  • Consolidate sales, operations, and production data into actionable dashboards and reports using agentic AI tools.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy, identify variances, and adjust models based on performance trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with FSM Roster Planner to align technicians and with MRO department (Maintenance & Repair) to align robotic set availability with forecasted needs, including aligning maintenance schedules
  • Partner with Production Planners to validate production schedules aligned with forecasted service demand.
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure forecasts reflect revenue projections and cost implications.
  • S&OP Process Ownership
  • Contribute actively to S&OP meetings by presenting demand scenarios, risks, and planning recommendations.
  • Help build a data-driven S&OP culture through continuous process improvement and forecast model refinement.
  • Actively participating in E2E Planning tool development.
