SKELAR is a Ukrainian venture builder that creates international tech businesses. We assemble strong teams to win in global markets.

Today, SKELAR brings together 15+ businesses across various niches — from EdTech to HealthTech. These are companies featured in rankings of top startups and product companies in Ukraine, reaching top positions in the App Store and building platforms used by millions of people worldwide. SKELAR businesses have also been featured in global media such as TechCrunch, Wired, and others.

We are proud of our team of 1500+ professionals with strong expertise and ambitious goals. Our people are our most valuable asset, which is why we choose to build businesses together with the best talent on the market.

We are currently looking for an DevOps engineer.

We are Leaply — an ecosystem of digital and physical products designed to help people build healthy habits and improve their quality of life. We operate in global markets — the US, Tier 1, Europe, and beyond.

We initially launched a web platform, and later expanded with a mobile application, focused on habit-building with a subscription-based monetization model.

In 2025, the team tripled in size and the business grew 3x. In 2026, we aim to double our growth and become a top-3 healthtech product globally.

Our team is building its third business together, with successful exits behind us and a deep understanding of our niche and target audience. We move fast, communicate openly, and set ambitious goals.

What you’ll do:

— Become the first hire in a new Platform team and build the infrastructure function from scratch — from strategy to execution, with full ownership and impact across the business;
— Transform infrastructure that has grown alongside the product into a mature, well-structured platform — with clear service maps, dependencies, and ownership areas;
— Take Terraform and Kubernetes to the next level of maturity: modular IaC architecture, standardized deployments, autoscaling — ensuring every release is predictable and reliable;
— Build a full observability system: metrics, logs, traces, alerting — so the team can proactively monitor system health instead of reacting after issues occur;
— Strengthen security practices: access management, secrets handling, protection from external threats — and make security an integral part of the engineering culture;
— Optimize data infrastructure — ensuring stable and efficient pipelines for analytics and business decision-making;
— Create platform templates for new services — so product teams can focus on features instead of infrastructure;
— Work across three core business domains — Product, Growth/Marketing, and Payments — building solutions that scale the entire business, not just individual teams.

This role is for you if...

Must-have

— 5+ years of commercial experience in Infrastructure / DevOps;
— Strong experience with Kubernetes + Helm (clusters, deployments, autoscaling, health checks);
— GCP — projects, networking, services, access management;
— Terraform — infrastructure as code, modules, state management;
— CI/CD — building and maintaining pipelines;
— Observability — monitoring, logging, alerting (Prometheus/Grafana or similar);
— Security — access control, secrets management, protection from external threats;
— Ability to write production-level code — not just scripts (Bash/Python), but also capable of contributing to backend (Node.js/TypeScript) to solve engineering challenges;
— Ownership mindset — proactively identifying risks, driving solutions, and thinking in terms of business impact;
— Actively using AI tools in your workflow to move faster and think broader.

Nice-to-have

— Experience with data tooling — building and maintaining data pipelines;
— FinOps — infrastructure cost optimization, budgeting, cost monitoring.

SKELAR is an environment for self-realization of people who are able to create successful companies. We believe in their power and scale.

To support this, we’ve built a strong internal ecosystem:

— 8 SKELAR Platform teams that help businesses solve challenges — from recruiting and communications to finance and legal;
— A community of founders with proven experience in launching multiple businesses;
— Internal professional clubs: marketing, development, finance, recruiting, brand ambassadorship;
— Trainings, courses, and conferences;
— Health insurance and a corporate doctor;
— SKELAR Foundation — a charitable initiative supporting Ukraine.
