About the Role

We are looking for a strategic, operationally strong leader to serve as our Director of HR Managed Services. In this role, you will lead a team of HR consultants who support multiple clients nationwide while owning the overall client experience for the function. You will help shape how we deliver HR services at scale by building team capability, strengthening delivery standards, leveraging technology, and ensuring clients receive consistent, high-quality support.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR consultants serving multiple client accounts across the United States.
  • Oversee the delivery of HR managed services across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring quality, responsiveness, and consistency.
  • Own the client experience, including relationship management, issue escalation, onboarding, and service delivery excellence.
  • Build and refine scalable processes, workflows, and operating rhythms that support a growing managed services business.
  • Champion the use of HR technology, data, and reporting to improve team productivity, visibility, and client outcomes.
  • Partner with Sales and senior leadership on solution design, client transitions, and growth opportunities.
  • Shape the strategy, structure, and evolution of the HR Managed Services function in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Manage competing priorities and make thoughtful, high-judgment decisions that keep the team and clients moving forward

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership experience in consulting, managed services, outsourced HR, or a multi-client environment.
  • Proven success leading teams that deliver high-quality HR support across multiple clients or business units.
  • Strong background in HR operations, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and service delivery.
  • Demonstrated success leveraging HCM platforms, HRIS systems, reporting tools, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • High attention to detail, strong data judgment, and a firm commitment to confidentiality and compliance, including HIPAA/PHI awareness.
