We have a newly created opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team. This full-time role will be based from our Staines office and will provide essential support to the finance department, helping ensure smooth financial operations and assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks. The successful candidate will work closely with other finance team members and report directly to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Updating accounting records including:
- Raising and posting customer invoices to Sage.
- Credit control
- Posting of month end revenue and cost journals.
Project Support – timesheets:
- To provide day to day project and business support as required.
- Raising customer invoices as per contractual terms.
Reporting Requirements:
- Production of monthly management accounts including a revenue report driven by time sheet records and the production of a cost report.
- Analysis of the above to identify any unexpected differences.
- Production of month end metrics to analyse the businesses underlying performance.
