YOUR MISSION AT PLANCRAFT

As our Account Executive in Italy, you play a key role in building plancraft’s presence from the ground up. Having just entered the market, we’re looking for someone who enjoys shaping things early on. You will develop relationships with a growing base of Italian customers, co-create a local sales approach, and turn early learnings into scalable success.
You will work closely with a small and highly motivated local team, currently consisting of a Country Lead and a Sales colleagues. This setup gives you a high level of ownership and real influence from day one. It is a hands on role where you collaborate closely while owning your own customer impact, with a strong focus on building sustainable foundations early on.

You will be based in Milan, working on site from our soon-to-be-opened office at least three days per week, with occasional travel to our HQ in Hamburg (onboarding + quarterly visits).


Your Responsibilities

  • Convert leads into paying customers through excellent qualification, tailored demos, and consistent follow-up.

  • Own customers across the full lifecycle, including onboarding and activation support to avoid early churn and ensure customer value creation.

  • Execute daily sales activities with high quality, maintaining strong CRM hygiene and transparent documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with the team on localization, customer communication, and structured feedback loops.

  • Provide weekly reporting on lead flow, performance metrics, and customer insights.

  • Support outbound experiments (e.g., targeted outreach, event-based campaigns) and share learnings with HQ and local team.

  • Contribute to optimizing the sales process, improving structure and efficiency alongside the team.

  • Help prepare and refine the sales playbook and market learnings together with the Country Lead.

 

YOUR PROFILE

Must-haves

  • A self-starter entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership, structure, and reliability.

  • Strong track record in closing deals and managing a structured pipeline.

  • 2+ years experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in SMB segment.

  • Proven hands-on experience with outbound prospecting and lead generation.

  • Solid CRM Experience (Hubspot preferred).

  • Comfortable working in fast-changing environments.

  • Italian language proficiency at C1/C2 level and strong English skills.


Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in startups or early-market environments.
