Responsibilities:
- Process and confirm futures contracts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile trade discrepancies and resolve settlement issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions with Exchanges and Brokers.
- Responsible for activities including securities settlement, corporate actions, client fund transfers, IPOs, placements, stock repos, and SBL (Securities Borrowing and Lending).
- Handle corporate actions for HK equities, US equities, JP equities, and SG equities.
- Collaborate with trading, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Generate and analyze reports on settlement activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of settlement procedures and controls.
- Respond to inquiries from clients and internal teams regarding futures settlements.
- Ensure segregation of client money.
- Participate in settlement system implementation.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Pre-requisites:
- College degree or above in Business Administration or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of futures and securities markets and settlement processes.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software/tools (e.g., Excel, settlement platforms).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work shift duty/holiday shifts and overtime when required.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Manager position.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Operations or Settlement, including type 1 stocks settlement and type 2 global futures settlement experience.
- Fluency in written English and Chinese, and spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
- System requirements: Esunny, CCMS, DCASS, Bloomberg, Hundsun, CCASS.
