Group FP&A Analyst

Based: High Wycombe / Hybrid
Term: Permanent, Full time
Salary: £28000 - £40000 pa + excellent benefits

The Role:

The FP&A analyst role will be part of the small Group Finance team, reporting to the Group FP&A manager.  This role will help support the global sales and operations teams, particularly the EMEA and APAC teams.  

The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in driving performance through insightful management reporting and data management. They will support the Group FP&A Manager with data cleansing, collection, analysis and reporting with a particular focus on driving logistics savings. 

They will deliver and look for process improvements regarding routine monthly reporting and work with the Power BI team to help automate more reporting into Power BI. They will also effectively act as a finance business partner to the regional sales teams when required and help support wider finance functions when required.

Key responsibilities include:

Monthly reporting:

• Help identify, track and analyse EMEA and APAC regional operations team efficiency and cost saving programmes such as further D2C fulfilment centres to drive shipping reductions

• Provide insight into global freight and duty costs

Process improvements:

• Create and maintain robust tracking and reporting for logistics elements including warranty replacements, lost shipments, marketing, loan stock as well as return. Work with regional operations teams to improve processes and controls

• Work with global BI team to improve data quality and master data enhancements

• Work with BI team on detailed report development and help to police reporting terminology

• Provide transaction level support to regional sales teams where needed, eg marketing cost tracking or promo queries/ checking, effectively acting as a finance business partner to them

• Running monthly regional P&Ls

• Support wider finance functions when required

Skills and experience required:

• Part qualified or qualifying accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

• Strong analytical and financial skills, some analytical or bookkeeping experience preferred

• Good skills with Excel, databases and Power BI

• Ability to work independently and proactively seek out improvements

• Keen to learn and develop skills within finance

• Strong communicator with ability to present to, influence and challenge stakeholders

• Detail-oriented with a drive for continuous improvement and efficiency
