Perci Health is reimagining how cancer care is delivered and experienced. As the UK’s largest virtual cancer clinic, we provide whole-person, end-to-end support - from risk reduction and early detection to rehabilitation and long-term recovery.
We exist to close the critical care gap in modern cancer services, combining digital innovation with expert-led human care. Backed by Macmillan Cancer Support and invested in by over 35 of the UK’s leading oncologists and cancer surgeons, we are building a new model of care, one that’s proactive, personalised, and precision-led.
We’ve pioneered Performance Oncology, a new standard of cancer care inspired by the principles of elite sport. Our multidisciplinary teams work collaboratively across more than 20 clinical specialisms to deliver personalised care plans that help people reduce risk, navigate treatment, manage side effects, and rebuild their lives.
At Perci, you’ll join a compassionate, mission-driven team united by one goal: to radically improve outcomes for everyone affected by cancer. Our innovative virtual clinic makes specialist-led care more accessible, reducing avoidable complications and transforming lives.
Founded by a cancer clinician and a digital transformation leader, Perci blends deep clinical insight with consumer-grade digital experience. Together, we’re setting a new benchmark for cancer care, proving that quality, compassion, and innovation can coexist.
Help shape the future of cancer care. Welcome to Whole Human Cancer Care.
Role Purpose
We are seeking a Head of Data to lead Perci Health’s data capability at a pivotal moment in our growth.
This role is responsible for building the foundations of a world-class data function - establishing infrastructure, governance, and insight capability that enables Perci to deliver increasingly personalised, evidence-led cancer care. Sitting within the Technology team and reporting directly to the CTO, it is a senior leadership role that will directly shape our product roadmap, clinical outcomes, and commercial strategy.
We are preparing for a significant fundraise later this year, and as we move into a later stage of growth we will want people who are ready, willing, and able to scale up their teams - to hire, to manage, and to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own Perci’s data strategy, roadmap, and governance framework, ensuring data is treated as a core organisational asset
- Build and lead a high-performing data team — including data engineers, analysts, and data scientists — scaling the function in line with business growth
- Establish and maintain robust, scalable data infrastructure and pipelines that support both clinical and commercial needs
- Partner closely with the clinical, product, and commercial teams to translate data into actionable insights that drive better patient outcomes and business performance
- Lead on data governance, privacy, and compliance — including GDPR, NHS Data Security Standards, and other relevant healthcare regulations
- Develop and own our approach to clinical data and real-world evidence, enabling Perci to demonstrate impact and support research partnerships
- Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organisation, supporting a culture of measurement, experimentation, and learning
- Work with the CTO and leadership team to define key metrics, build reporting infrastructure, and provide board-level data visibility
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning to enhance Perci’s clinical and operational capabilities
- Represent data at the leadership level, contributing to fundraising narratives, investor reporting, and due diligence processes
