The Role
We are looking for a high-agency Head of Operations to be the connective tissue of Constellation Space. You will work directly with the founders to build and scale the company's non-engineering infrastructure from the ground up. You will own everything that allows our engineering team to run fast and our business to scale.
What You'll Do:
Go-to-Market & Deployment Ops: Coordinate logistics and operational timelines for customer deployments and high-stakes executive demos globally.
Talent & Hiring Pipelines: Build and execute aggressive, creative hiring strategies.
Company Infrastructure: Manage vendor relationships, financial operations, legal/compliance interfacing, and day-to-day business administration.
Strategic Initiatives: Act as a force multiplier for the CEO, stepping in to solve whichever fire is burning the brightest on any given day.
Who You Are:
Relentlessly Resourceful: You don't need a playbook; you write it. You thrive in ambiguity and high-pressure environments.
Highly Analytical: You make decisions based on data. You can build financial models, analyze logistics, and optimize processes.
Hard-Tech / Startup DNA: You understand the urgency of a seed-stage startup. Previous experience at an early-stage hard-tech, aerospace, or deep-tech company is a massive plus. Ex-founders are highly encouraged to apply.
About the interview
1. Introductory Call (30 mins): A quick conversation with our CEO to discuss your background, Constellation's vision, and mutual fit.
2. Operational Case Study (Take-Home): A brief, practical exercise reflecting a real operational challenge we are currently facing (e.g., structuring a global deployment timeline or building out our next hiring funnel).
3. Final Interview (Onsite/Video): A deep dive with the founding team to discuss your case study, problem-solving approach, and culture fit.
