The Role

We are looking for a proactive and well‑organised HR Administrator and recruiter to join our existing HR team, with a particular focus on recruitment and onboarding coordination. This role offers excellent exposure to HR operations and recruitment, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their HR career.

You will play a key part in maintaining accurate training records, recruiting new staff across the organisation and supporting the wider HR function with high‑quality administrative support.

Duties

·       Maintain accurate training and compliance records on the HR system, ensuring data is up to date and audit ready.

·       Provide general HR administrative support including maintaining employee records, preparing letters and documentation and responding to routine queries.

·       Contribute to a positive employee experience by providing a friendly, efficient and professional service.

·       Promote inclusion by encouraging participation in local community activities and events.

·       Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including posting vacancies, screening applications, arranging interviews, liaising with candidates and supporting Hiring Managers.

·       Coordinate all new starter onboarding processes including right to work checks, references, DBS tracking, induction planning, training enrolment and HR system setup.

·       Produce recruitment, onboarding and training compliance reports and support workforce audits and monitoring processes.

·       Act as a first point of contact for recruitment, onboarding and training queries, providing a professional and supportive service to staff and managers.

·       Ensure recruitment, onboarding and workforce processes are completed in line with safer recruitment standards, company policies and UK employment legislation.
