Summary: We are looking for a motivated Inventory Intern to support the execution of our fast-paced business. The Inventory Executive is responsible for tactically managing inventory and distribution of product across various international locations to optimize supply chain operations. This role ensures effective SKU availability, efficient stock distribution, and cost-effective inventory management while maintaining compliance with global trade regulations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall distributions efficiency.
As an Inventory Intern, you will support the S&OP team across a wide range of daily activities and strategic initiatives. This internship will give you exposure to the end-to-end Supply Chain process. You’ll work closely with S&OP and peers across S&OP, Supply Chain, and Logistics, gaining hands-on experience in how new beauty products are brought to life within an international brand environment.

Please note that this role is a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventory Distribution

  • Utilize system tools to detect and resolve overstock situations within B2C / B2B warehouses.
  • Apply analytics to identify excess inventory and drive redistribution, rebalancing, or liquidation strategies.
  • Own eCommerce SKU availability across all distribution warehouses, ensuring timely transfers from B2B to B2C locations in line with predetermined logic.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to minimize stockouts, overstocks, and fulfilment delays.

Shelf Life, Expiry & Quality Driven Inventory Management

  • Monitor and manage inventory based on shelf life and expiry to protect product quality and reduce writeoffs.
  • Maintain global visibility of ageing stock and upcoming expiry risks through realtime tracking tools.
