In this role, you'll work hybrid within our Accounting team, handling daily tasks that feed reliable figures into our internal and external reporting - and help shape the decisions that drive HomeToGo's growth. How you’ll add value

  • Check and post incoming and outgoing invoices and receipts (upload to the invoice approval tool and book in DATEV and SAP)
  • Clear debtor and vendor accounts
  • Upload and reconcile data from external payment providers
  • Review travel expenses in our expense tool and manage asset accounting
  • Support senior colleagues in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assist with all closing processes
  • Help with administrative tasks such as VAT filings, statistical filings, and business registrations


You’ll be successful in this role if you

  • Have at least 1 year of professional experience in accounting
  • Bring solid knowledge of German GAAP and VAT and are comfortable applying it day-to-day; knowledge of IFRS is a plus
  • Communicate confidently in both German and English, written and verbally
  • Work well in a team and genuinely want to #enableeachothertosucceed
  • Handle data with care — strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach come naturally to you
  • Navigate MS Excel with ease
  • Look for ways to improve processes and embrace AI tools to work smarter
  • Bring SAP & DATEV experience into the role (strong plus)
