Tagaddod is seeking a motivated Junior Lab Chemist to join our team in Alexandria. The ideal candidate will assist in laboratory testing and analyses to support our commitment to quality and innovation in environmentally sustainable solutions. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting quality tests on raw materials, in-process products, and final products following standard laboratory procedures.
- Support in testing feedstocks and product samples using appropriate analytical methods related to oils and fats.
- Help select and prepare samples for testing, including measuring, checking functionality, and comparing results to specifications.
- Record test results, observations, and daily quality metrics such as number of defects.
- Assist in maintaining accurate documentation and laboratory records in compliance with quality standards.
- Support senior lab staff in inspecting production procedures to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Report testing results and any deviations to the Senior lab staff.
- Help monitor supplier performance by recording quality data for incoming raw materials.
- Follow lab safety rules, quality assurance guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform any additional laboratory-related tasks assigned to support daily operations.
