Sigma is hiring a Marketing Engineer to grow the pipeline through the website and scale how marketing ships. This is a hybrid role that combines performance marketing, web development, and applied AI. You'll write code, run experiments, and build the systems that let marketing and sales move faster.

You'll be measured on website conversion (especially S2 quantified deal SQL generation), free trial activation, and how much of marketing's recurring work you can automate. This is a new role with wide latitude on tooling and process, working closely with Product Marketing, Sales, and the data team.

What You'll Do

1. Build the Data-to-Web Automation Pipeline

  • Sales-to-Web Workflow: Build the pipeline that takes data analyzed in Sigma, drafts content with Claude, and publishes to the site through Sanity. Cut the cycle from weeks to hours.
  • Content Operations: Automate the production of customer stories, pricing pages, and feature pages so updates land on the site the same day they land in the data.
  • AI Tooling: Build the prompts, Claude Skills, and integrations that make this pipeline reliable and easy for non-engineers to run.

2. Optimize Website Performance

  • Conversion Analysis: Diagnose site performance in Sigma. Identify the highest-leverage page changes for SQL generation and trial conversion.
  • Experimentation: Run A/B tests and ship code-level changes. Measure outcomes against pipeline impact, not just clicks.
  • Free Trial Experience: Rebuild the trial flow to increase the conversion rate from trials to qualified opportunities.

3. Ship Web Pages with Product Marketing

  • Page Production: Partner with Product Marketing to design, build, and launch pages without a separate dev cycle.
  • Component Library: Build and maintain reusable components that enable PMM to ship pages faster.
  • Site Quality: Own performance, accessibility, and SEO for the marketing site.

4. Enable Sales with AI

  • GTM Resource Library: Use AI to build a portfolio of battlecards, customer one-pagers, microsites, and sales tools at a pace and cost that wasn't possible before.
  • Claude for Sales: Build the prompts, workflows, and Skills that let an AE generate the right document at the right moment without filing a marketing ticket.
  • Adoption Tracking: Document which AI workflows actually pay off. Retire the ones that don't.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 4+ years in performance marketing, growth engineering, marketing operations, or a related role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to ship production-quality code for a marketing site. Comfortable with TypeScript and React, REST APIs, and a headless CMS like Sanity, Contentful, or Webflow.
  • Data Skills: Can analyze conversion data in SQL and a BI tool. Understands the basics of A/B testing and statistical significance.
  • AI Fluency: Has built something real with Claude, GPT, or another LLM. Can speak honestly about where AI helps and where it gets in the way.
  • Marketing Instinct: Thinks in funnels and pipeline metrics, not impressions and brand awareness. Can write a clean page without an agency.
  • Bias to Ship: Prefers a 75% solution this week to a 100% solution next quarter.

Bonus Points

  • Hands-on experience with Sigma, Sanity, or both.
  • Has built MCP servers, Claude Skills, or other agentic AI integrations.
  • CRO experience on a B2B marketing site, with stories about what worked and what didn't.
  • Has worked closely with a sales team and understands how AEs actually use the tools marketing builds.
