As a Head Physical Education Teacher at Aaron School, you'll create an engaging and supportive environment where students build confidence, strengthen social connections, and develop lifelong healthy habits through movement and wellness. You will play an important role in helping students with learning differences thrive by designing adaptive, student-centered physical education experiences that celebrate growth, teamwork, and achievement.
What You'll Need
Master's degree in Physical Education or a related field from an accredited institution
Experience supporting students with learning differences or special education needs preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Ability to design engaging and differentiated lessons that support diverse learning profiles
Passion for helping students build confidence, independence, and social-emotional growth
What You'll Do
Design and deliver differentiated physical education lessons that engage and support diverse learners
Create a positive learning environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and student success
Lead Field Day, Curriculum Night, and seasonal health instruction programming
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student progress and development
Monitor student growth, communicate with families, and participate in team meetings and conferences
