Role Summary and Impact


The Planner 360 is responsible for transforming client briefs into integrated, insight-driven media strategies that deliver measurable business impact. This role leads the end-to-end planning process across traditional and digital channels, ensuring data-backed decision-making, strategic alignment, and budget efficiency. The Planner collaborates closely with buyers, internal stakeholders, and clients, playing a key role in campaign design, vendor negotiations, and performance analysis.

  • Analyze client briefs and develop strategic media plans aligned with brand objectives and performance KPIs.
  • Conduct in-depth audience segmentation and brand persona analysis using data from Nielsen, Ipsos, Integra metrics, Adintel, Tabscan, Ibope, CDI and proprietary sources.
  • Negotiate rates and inventory with media vendors to ensure cost-efficiency and delivery against plan.
  • Maintain healthy performance benchmarks and monitor the point of diminishing returns in media investments.
  • Identify and recommend innovative media opportunities and non-traditional placements that add strategic value.
  • Supervise buyers, ensuring proper campaign execution, on-time implementation, and alignment with approved strategies.
  • Elevate media performance and spend report developed by Account Executives tying back to campaign objectives and providing clear, strategic insights to clients.
  • Lead media flowchart development and ensure budgets, KPIs, and timelines are accurate and consistently updated.
  • Forecast investment and media delivery to avoid budget deviations, and coordinate with finance and systems to ensure monthly contracted spend matches execution.
  • Support the Account Director in client-facing meetings, and lead presentations when needed to optimize time and team capacity.
  • Join activation or integration events to ensure brand message and media strategy are being properly executed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing or Business Administration.

Experience

2–3 years of experience as a media planner in an agency or media-related environment.

Other knowledge

Ideal certifications: Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or other digital planning/analytics credentials.

Proficient in audience and media planning tools such as Nielsen, Ipsos, Adintel, Integrametrics, Intersoft, Tabscan.

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts, filters) and proficiency in PowerPoint

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Clear and assertive communication; ability to work well in teams.

Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
