Nuada is looking for an experienced process technician to join our expanding team! We have two pilot carbon capture plants currently operating in the UK.  We require a process technician to help operate, maintain and optimise plant performance under the supervision of our shift leads. This role will be based at existing pilot plant sites. This will be a challenging yet rewarding role that will require a passion to drive things through to completion and work as part of a team developing the next generation of carbon capture technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver assigned operational tasks and priorities as directed by the Team Lead.
  • Support safe and reliable plant operations through routine monitoring and control of process systems.
  • Assist in maintaining site compliance through coordination of routine inspections, checks, and calibrations.
  • Participate in commissioning, decommissioning, and other site readiness activities as required.
  • Support the management of site waste, housekeeping, and general workplace standards.
  • Support the implementation of safe working practices.
  • Develop an understanding of the plant behaviour, to anticipate troubles and resolve them.
  • Manage isolations in line with RAMS and permitting requirements.
  • Overhaul the plant as required, for jobs such as valve changes, draining, cleaning, flushing.
