StoryCo is transforming the way people experience stories by turning static comics into dynamic motion comics. We collaborate with a wide range of comic creators and platforms to bring their stories to life through animation, sound, and creative production. Our team is organized into pods, each responsible for producing one or more motion comic series.

Role Overview

The Creative Production Coordinator plays a central role in driving production planning, coordination, and communication across StoryCo’s internal teams and external partners. This role ensures that all projects stay on track from onboarding to delivery by managing timelines, surfacing risks early, and facilitating alignment between producers, creators, and clients.

You will work closely with Production Managers, Story Producers, Process Improvement Managers (PIM), creators, and external partners to ensure efficient execution, clear communication, and scalable workflows across multiple titles.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Tracking

  • Maintain and update production timelines, including key milestones and delivery schedules

  • Monitor progress across multiple projects and proactively flag risks or delays

  • Support monthly planning by aligning timelines and priorities across teams

  • Coordinate with audio and production teams to ensure efficient workload planning

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with producers and cross-functional teams to keep projects moving forward

  • Identify and help resolve production blockers in a timely manner

  • Support ongoing improvements to workflows and production processes

External Partner Coordination

  • Coordinate the delivery of production materials to external partners

  • Respond to partner questions related to timelines, assets, and production processes

  • Prepare regular updates and reports to keep partners informed on project progress

Creator Communication

  • Act as a main point of contact for creators during production

  • Coordinate feedback and review cycles to ensure timely approvals

  • Follow up on revisions and ensure all feedback is clearly tracked and implemented

  • Build positive, long-term working relationships with creators

Onboarding & Kickoff Coordination

  • Guide new creators through the onboarding process and ensure all required materials are collected

  • Coordinate internal readiness before production begins

  • Organize and support kickoff meetings to align all stakeholders on expectations and timelines

Job Requirements
  • Experience in project coordination, production, creative operations, or partner/client management

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including timeline tracking, stakeholder coordination, and risk identification

  • Strong English proficiency (equivalent to IELTS 7.5+), with excellent written and verbal communication in a professional setting

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills, with experience maintaining trackers, timelines, reports, or communication records

  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage complex workflows, revisions, and dependencies

  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify blockers early and drive resolution across teams

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Willingness to collaborate across international time zones, with flexibility to adjust working hours when needed to support global partners

  • Familiarity with production and collaboration tools (e.g. Google Sheets, project management tools, Frame.io)

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with creative or production teams in media, animation, comics, or entertainment

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (e.g. creative, production, audio, external partners) and managing feedback/review cycles

  • Interest in comics, anime, or digital content production

  • Location: On-site at 177 Hai Ba Trung, Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City

  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (GMT+7), Monday through Friday
