What you'll do

  • • Lead and manage water resources projects including stormwater master planning, drainage design, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
  • • Oversee the development of watershed studies, capital improvement projects, and stormwater management solutions
  • • Perform and manage hydrologic and hydraulic analyses (1D/2D modeling) and drainage design
  • • Design and oversee stormwater management systems, erosion and sediment control plans, and NPDES permitting efforts
  • • Develop and review contract documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • • Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
  • • Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets, including proposal development and fee negotiations
  • • Perform and oversee FEMA Letter of Map Changes and related studies
  • • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members
  • • Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget goals

What you bring

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • • Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Georgia preferred)
  • • 10+ years of experience in water resources engineering
  • • Strong experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and stormwater management design
  • • Experience with green infrastructure and low impact development practices
  • • Experience with erosion and sediment control design and permitting
  • • Proficiency in preparing construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcMap, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software
  • • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead client interactions
  • • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and appropriately prioritize workflow
  • • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • • Ability to mentor staff and lead a high-performing team
  • • Ability to perform field work including lifting up to 25 pounds
