Firefly is seeking a seasoned, executive-level sales leader to join as Sales Director based in Los Angeles. This senior role is built for a high-impact seller who brings deep-rooted relationships across major entertainment studios, agency holding companies, and premium West Coast advertisers — and who knows how to translate those relationships into long-term, strategic revenue partnerships.
This is not an entry point into media sales. We're looking for someone who has a seat at the table with decision-makers at the studio level as well as strong footing within the agency ecosystem. You understand how entertainment marketers think, how tentpole campaigns are built, and how to position Firefly's unique media platform as an essential part of the mix.
As a Director on our West region team, you will serve as one of Firefly's most visible market leaders — shaping strategy, closing enterprise-level deals, and helping define what premium partnership looks like in our fastest-growing region.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts spanning major entertainment studios, streaming platforms, agency holding companies, and direct advertisers across the West region
Serve as the senior relationship executive for studio and entertainment clients, navigating complex stakeholder structures across media, brand, and theatrical marketing teams
Develop and execute account-level growth strategies that align Firefly's capabilities with the unique needs of entertainment marketers — from tentpole releases and streaming launches to franchise campaigns
Drive net new revenue by identifying and closing strategic opportunities with studios, networks, streamers, and premium brands not currently in the Firefly portfolio
Lead executive-level conversations and C-suite presentations with confidence, credibility, and a consultative point of view
Serve as a thought leader and market voice for Firefly — representing the company at industry events, studio briefings, and agency summits
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative Strategy, Client Success, and Revenue Operations to develop bespoke solutions and deliver exceptional campaign outcomes
Provide disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and executive-level revenue reporting through Salesforce
Translate campaign performance data into strategic narratives and optimization recommendations that deepen client relationships
Stay ahead of trends across the entertainment marketing landscape, digital media, programmatic, and OOH to identify emerging opportunities for clients and Firefly
REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of experience in media sales, advertising, or marketing partnerships, with with a proven track record selling into or alongside the entertainment industry
Established, direct relationships with media and marketing decision-makers at major entertainment studios, streaming platforms, and/or networks
Strong existing ties to agency holding companies and independent agencies in the West region
Proven track record of closing and growing enterprise-level accounts and multi-platform partnerships
Deep understanding of entertainment marketing cycles, including theatrical, streaming, home entertainment, and franchise campaigns
Experience selling complex, integrated media solutions within the digital and programmatic advertising ecosystem
Ability to operate and influence at the Director, VP, and C-suite level across both client and agency organizations
Strategic, consultative sales approach with strong business acumen and a solutions-first mindset
Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and storytelling skills — you make complex ideas land clearly
Highly organized with strong pipeline discipline and a track record of accurate forecasting
Collaborative and cross-functional by nature, with the ability to lead without direct authority
Salesforce experience required
Willingness and ability to travel as the role demands
Must be authorized to work in the United States
