Your career as a Senior Reporting Accountant at Booksy will give you the opportunity to take true ownership of our statutory reporting and consolidation processes. Working closely with the Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert for Polish GAAP, ensuring our financial story is told accurately as we continue to scale globally.
You’ll be excited by the prospect of developing and improving processes in a fast-paced, "human-to-human" environment. This isn't just about the numbers; it’s about advising the Group on proper accounting treatments and participating in strategic projects, such as new acquisitions or implementing the latest accounting standards.
Some of your responsibilities:
- Preparing and delivering accurate monthly and annual consolidated financial statements and supporting internal reporting, all in compliance with Polish GAAP.
- Managing intercompany (IC) transactions, including reconciliation and confirmation, and assisting with audit and review processes.
- Collaborating with accounting teams across the Group, external auditors, and advisors to resolve accounting treatment issues and ensure smooth reporting processes.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of Group Accounting Policy, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely financial reporting.
- Participating in strategic financial projects, such as the implementation of new accounting standards and the accounting for new acquisitions, as well as implementing internal controls in the accounting area.
