Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer / Tech Lead with 10–12 years of experience and strong expertise in Microservices architecture and Spring Boot to design, lead, develop, and maintain scalable applications. The ideal candidate should have a solid backend foundation, hands-on leadership experience, and a good understanding of modern frontend technologies like ReactJS.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, lead, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications.
- Architect and build scalable and resilient microservices-based systems using Spring Boot.
- Lead the development of RESTful APIs and complex integrations with external/internal systems.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and product managers.
- Drive architecture discussions, design decisions, and best practices adoption.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Own and contribute across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, governance, and engineering excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10–12 years of experience in Java development with strong technical leadership exposure.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
- Strong experience in Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Extensive experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrations.
- Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Experience with version control tools (Git).
- Proven technical leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Good to Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS or other modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Understanding of API gateways and service discovery tools (Eureka, Zuul, etc.).
