Freddie’s Flowers was founded by Freddie Garland in October 2014 with one ambition: to change people’s relationship with flowers. We believe flowers aren’t only for grand occasions, but they make every day special, inspiring creativity and sparking joy.

Our starting point was our direct-to-consumer subscription model, helping us grow a loyal UK following. We launched in Germany in 2020, and then in 2021 we secured significant backing from The Craftory, a like-minded purpose-led global investment house, helping us expand, develop and grow. 2023 saw us start our gifting service – bringing the best of Freddie’s Flowers to everyone who needs it (even last minute!).

From the seed of an idea we continue to flourish; we’re now a B Corp organisation. And our founding mission remains unchanged – to change the world of flowers, and to change the world with flowers.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a creative and culturally plugged-in Social Media & Partnerships Manager to help grow Freddie’s Flowers social into the no.1 community for flower enthusiasts.

Reporting into the Brand Director and working closely with our in-house creative team, you’ll lead our organic social presence, shaping channel strategy, creating social-first content, and building an engaged community that genuinely loves flowers, creativity and as a result, the Freddie’s Flowers brand. Plus, you’ll play a key role in deciding which other likeminded brands and people we partner with to help spread the message further - whether it’s through events, content, or full-bloom collaborations.

This is a role for someone who understands that social is no longer just a communications platform - it’s storytelling, inspiration, connection and growth. Someone full of ideas, excited by culture and trends, and always willing to get stuck in and try something.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and evolve our social channel strategy working alongside the Brand Director. With a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok, alongside a presence on Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Substack
  • Own and manage delivery of the UK & DE social calendar, aligning content and campaigns with wider marketing, brand and community initiatives
  • Develop content pillars, recurring franchises and creative concepts that Freddie’s Flowers can become known for
  • Create engaging social-first content — either hands-on yourself or in collaboration with our in-house design and creative team
  • Partner closely with the Founder’s social channels to create aligned and culturally relevant content
  • Align with our performance marketing team to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints and identify opportunities to cross-pollinate content and messaging
  • Manage daily community engagement alongside our Customer Service team, responding to comments and conversations across channels
  • Track, analyse and communicate channel performance and insights to the wider business, feeding learnings into an ongoing test-and-learn strategy
  • Stay connected to platform trends, cultural moments and emerging formats to keep our content fresh and distinctive.  Educating those around you on the on the evolving social landscape
  • Help build a thriving online and offline community of engaged flower enthusiasts. Creating positive experiences and hosting in person events people want to share, working alongside our sales, customer and CRM teams
  • Work with the Brand Director to create a program of partnerships, events and collaborations with like-minded brands and creators that engage the community and support customer acquisition
  • As a central part of a small-but-mighty brand marketing team, be willing to support across a wider scope of projects during peak campaign moments
