Compensation: €60K–€80K EUR

We are hiring on behalf of our client who is seeking a skilled Software Engineer - Backend & Data. The organization analyzes over 20 billion search signals to predict the next major consumer trends, enabling brands to optimize their marketing and product development strategies.

In this role, the successful candidate will help design and implement the next iteration of the data pipeline, storage solutions, and APIs backing a high-traffic SaaS platform. This is a remote, full-time contractor position open to qualified candidates located within Europe, operating with a high degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline & API Development: Define, design, and implement continuous improvements for the SaaS platform, data storage, and ETL pipelines related to security, quality, testing, automation, and new features.
  • Platform Maintenance: Ensure the high availability, scalability, and performance of the platform, data architecture, and associated internal tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support internal staff and external stakeholders in understanding and maximizing the utility of the platform’s data and tools.
  • Sprint Management: Contribute actively to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and task prioritization; estimate technical effort and assist in establishing realistic project timelines.
  • Project Tracking: Proactively track and report on development progress, identifying and resolving potential delays or technical roadblocks early.
