About the role…
As a Strategy Project Manager (Europe & UK), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering strategic initiatives that drive organisational growth and operational excellence across Bauer Media Outdoors’s UK and European businesses.
Reporting to the Strategy Director you’ll work at the intersection of strategy, execution, project management and data-led decision-making. You'll provide governance, project leadership and strategic insight across Bauer Media Outdoor's European operations, partnering closely with senior executives, business leaders and subject matter experts across both the UK and Europe. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across Bauer's Audio and Publishing businesses on wider group initiatives.
This is a highly visible role that supports senior leaders and local market teams by bringing structure, insight and momentum to priority projects. You'll help shape strategic thinking, manage complex initiatives and translate data and market intelligence into actionable recommendations that influence growth, commercial effectiveness and long-term business performance.
What you'll be doing...
- Lead strategic workstreams and support Bauer-wide programmes, delivering portfolio, product and growth initiatives across the UK and Europe.
- Support the development and execution of projects spanning portfolio strategy, product development, commercial transformation, data strategy and organisational effectiveness.
- Provide project leadership and governance, ensuring initiatives are clearly defined, effectively managed and successfully delivered.
- Create reports, presentations and KPI tracking for senior stakeholders, including the CEO and leadership teams.
- Use data, market intelligence and commercial insight to identify opportunities, support decision-making and drive business performance.
- Partner with local market teams to translate strategic opportunities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, helping solve complex challenges and identify opportunities for growth and transformation.
- Translate complex data and insights into clear, compelling recommendations for executive audiences.
- Foster collaboration across teams, markets and business units, promoting alignment, accountability and best practice.
Who are you?
We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills. You'll be comfortable navigating complexity, working across multiple markets and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
You will bring:
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large volumes of information and identify the most critical business insights.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with confidence communicating with senior stakeholders.
- The ability to summarise complex ideas and translate them into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Experience working across different teams, functions and cultures within an international environment.
- A proactive approach to sourcing, analysing and interpreting data from a variety of sources.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
