PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Systems Integration Specialist I supports system and process integration initiatives across Field Service – Product Services. This role assists with workflow documentation, system validation, user testing support, and operational alignment activities. The Specialist provides day-to-day support to the Systems Integration & Assurance Manager and cross-functional teams during system enhancements and updates.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Participate in system configuration and implementation activities in partnership with IT, including UAT coordination, execution of test scripts, defect tracking, release preparation, and post-implementation validation.
  • Document As-Is and To-Be workflows and update Operating Instructions and Work Instructions to reflect system and process changes.
  • Validate traceability controls, asset tracking, material disposition, and process compliance during system updates.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing corrective actions.
  • Maintain controlled documentation of system processes, workflows, configuration updates, and integration records.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for integration projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Product Services.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 1–3 years in operations support, logistics systems, testing support, or process coordination.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP or CRM systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and collaboration skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to follow established processes and workflows accurately.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
  • Effective collaboration with operational and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to learn and apply new system processes quickly.

 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL:

Physical Demands:  

  • Activities: Sitting – 80% Walking/Standing – 20% 
  • Vision: Long periods of close work on a computer screen.
  • Travel: Occasional travel (up to 10%) to IEM regional offices, warehouse locations, or vendor sites.  

Mental Demands: Interpret, analyze, research, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.  Environment: Climate-controlled office space and warehouse environments; exposure to non-climate-controlled areas may occur during inventory activities. 

Compensation actually offered for this role will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.  

[Comp Range: $85k – $95k]
