Role Overview :

webook is building the region's go-to marketplace for live events and we're looking for the commercial leader who will shape how we grow. 

As Trade Director, you'll build the trading function from a blank page: the strategy, the team, the frameworks, and the results. You'll own the P&L, set the commercial tempo for the business, and have a direct line to the CCO. If you've done this before and want to do it bigger this is that role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the e-commerce trading calendar planning, prioritising, and executing revenue-generating activity across the webook.com events marketplace.
  • Set and manage commercial KPIs: revenue, conversion rate, AOV, promotional ROI, inventory sell-through, and repeat purchase rate.
  • Build webook.com pricing and promotions framework, defining how discounts, bundles, and incentive structures are applied and evaluated.
  • Lead the Trading Team recruiting, onboarding, and developing three direct reports.
  • Partner with Marketing to align trading activity with acquisition campaigns and seasonal moments.
  • Work with Product to surface commercial requirements for the platform roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Operations to translate supply landscape into executable trading plans.
  • Report trading performance to the CCO weekly and monthly with clear analysis and recommendations.
  • Establish a test-and-learn culture with structured A/B testing across offers, pricing, and merchandising.
